Job Description
The company is looking for a Principal Architect in Bengaluru, India. This role involves leading the site team, ensuring coordination between different disciplines, and managing the quality assurance system for projects. You'll be responsible for meeting project timelines, quality, and budget targets while exceeding client expectations.
You will review designs for constructability, respond to contractor submissions and RFIs promptly, and provide necessary on-site direction. The role also includes monitoring material testing, maintaining QA documentation, and managing architectural site staff. You'll offer technical advice, prepare progress reports, and participate in contract administration and risk management.
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit Arch, and relevant building codes (American and BS) is essential. Experience with Excel and Word is also required. While not mandatory, familiarity with BIM, Revit, and Navisworks, along with effective communication and collaboration skills, would be beneficial.
