This role is for a Technical Design Architect Team Leader in Cairo, Egypt. The position involves leading and coordinating architectural design activities throughout the design development, construction documentation, and construction support phases of projects. The focus is on ensuring design quality, coordinating with consultants, implementing value engineering, and maintaining compliance with project requirements and regulations. The team leader will manage external design consultants, review and approve submissions, and ensure the integration of architectural design with other disciplines like structural, MEP, and landscape. A key aspect is driving value engineering initiatives while upholding design intent and quality. The role also requires supporting the development of design standards and providing technical clarification to construction teams. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms, and Microsoft Office is essential, along with strong design management, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
