Job Description
The company is looking for a Sr. BIM Manager in Dallas, Texas. This role involves supporting design and engineering teams on high-profile projects, from initial design through construction. You'll be responsible for developing BIM strategies, overseeing BIM work, and ensuring quality across projects, working closely with BIM leadership on new initiatives.
Your day-to-day will include managing project staff and processes for BIM implementation, coordinating the full model lifecycle (3D, 4D, 5D), and reviewing contractor model submittals. You'll also assist teams by providing model-based information for presentations and progress reporting, offering technical advice, and coaching others on BIM best practices. A key part of this role is understanding client needs and improving processes to meet them, while also developing and maintaining BIM documentation and guidelines.
This position requires extensive experience with BIM environments and applications, particularly Autodesk BIM360 and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), along with proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Experience with Dynamo visual programming is desirable.
