Job Description
The company is looking for a Sr. BIM Manager in Houston, Texas. This role involves supporting the Design & Engineering team on high-profile projects, guiding them from design through construction. You'll be responsible for developing BIM strategies, overseeing BIM quality, and managing project staff and processes for BIM implementation.
Your work will focus on coordinating the full model lifecycle, including 3D, 4D, and 5D aspects, and reviewing contractor model submittals. You'll also assist teams by providing information from virtual models for presentations and progress reporting, offering technical advice, and coaching on BIM application. A key part of this role is understanding client needs and improving processes to meet them, while also developing and maintaining BIM documentation and guidelines.
This position requires extensive experience with BIM environments and applications, particularly Autodesk BIM 360 and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), along with proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Experience with Dynamo visual programming is desirable.
