The company is looking for a Project Director in Bridges and Civil Engineering to join their team in Berlin. This role involves leading major infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes, and managing client relationships for economic success. You'll be responsible for technical excellence, meeting deadlines, and maintaining financial stability on complex bridge and civil engineering structures. In this position, you will oversee projects from feasibility to completion, guiding project and technical managers. You will act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and collaborating with stakeholders like transport authorities and railway clients. Strategic client advice on program, risk, and procurement will also be a key part of your responsibilities, alongside contributing to business development and tender processes. Ideal candidates will have a civil engineering degree with a focus on structural engineering and over 15 years of experience in bridge and civil engineering projects in Germany. Proven experience leading large, interdisciplinary infrastructure projects and managing complex client relationships, especially with public clients, is essential. Strong communication and negotiation skills in German and English are also required. Experience with BIM projects would be a plus.
