Job Description
The company is looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee large infrastructure and civil engineering projects, specifically focusing on energy networks in Germany. This role involves guiding planning and construction activities to ensure projects are approved and successfully completed.
You'll be responsible for managing construction site operations, refining planning processes, and ensuring high-quality design work. The position also includes coaching other project managers, establishing robust reporting systems, and identifying and managing project risks. You will also advise on project governance and organizational structure, and support resource planning.
This opportunity requires a degree in civil engineering or a related field, with at least 15 years of experience in managing major projects. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies like PMI or Prince2, along with a PMI certification, is essential. Experience with software such as RiB iTWO and CAD, as well as a deep understanding of construction interfaces and working with authorities, is also key. Proven leadership experience with large, diverse teams is a must.
