This role is for a seasoned Electrical Engineer with at least 15 years of experience in power transmission networks, specifically focusing on Partial Discharge (PD) measurement and analysis. The company is looking for someone deeply knowledgeable in various PD measurement techniques, including TEV, Ultrasonic, and cable PD, as well as understanding different types of PD activity and their causes. The position involves evaluating technical reports, using condition monitoring software, and preparing detailed analysis reports with recommendations for asset health. You'll be expected to provide technical solutions for PD-related issues, ensure data accuracy, and attend site activities for testing and investigations. A strong understanding of safety procedures for high-voltage installations and international standards is essential.
