This role is all about ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of drainage systems. You'll be instrumental in developing reporting mechanisms and dashboards to track performance and manage risks effectively. A key part of the job involves embedding the company's vision and values within the department, continuously reviewing objectives, KPIs, and taking action for improvement. You'll also be responsible for overseeing budgets and timelines, ensuring professional conduct, and providing expert advice on asset management for drainage systems. This includes advising on risk management and performance enhancements to meet strategic goals, and representing the technical office manager in relevant meetings. Building KPIs for operations and asset management will also be a significant aspect of your work. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field, chartered status, and at least 20 years of postgraduate experience, with a significant portion in similar roles and experience in Qatar or the Gulf region. Strong English communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of drainage operations and maintenance, and asset management software like Maximo or SAP.
