Job Description
The company is looking for a Vice President (Mechanical) to lead their mechanical engineering efforts for building services and infrastructure projects. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of mechanical works, from planning and design through to installation, testing, and commissioning. You'll be reviewing technical documents, collaborating with other disciplines, and ensuring top-notch service delivery to clients.
This position also offers the chance to contribute to business development and client acquisition. A key part of the role will be managing and mentoring a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth while driving successful project outcomes.
To be successful, you'll need a degree in Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, and be registered with them. A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in mechanical design for building services and infrastructure, ideally within a consulting firm with a history of major projects, is essential. Familiarity with local codes, regulations, and submission procedures is also important. While not mandatory, knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Revit would be beneficial.
