Job Description
The company is looking for a Sheet Metal BIM Coordinator in Columbus, Ohio. This role is about supporting the creation and coordination of BIM models and shop drawings for mechanical construction projects. You'll be working with HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems, making sure everything is accurate and coordinated with other trades.
You'll be responsible for updating 2D and 3D models, preparing construction layouts, and revising drawings based on team feedback. A key part of the job involves coordinating with electrical and structural models to resolve clashes and ensuring all drawings meet project specifications.
This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a desire to learn about mechanical construction processes. While experience with Revit and Navisworks is a plus, a willingness to develop new technical skills is highly valued.
