Job Description
This company is looking for a Drafter I to join their team in Fort Smith or Little Rock, Arkansas. You'll be supporting field employees and customers by handling drafting duties for gas pipeline projects.
In this role, you'll assist engineering, operations, and construction teams with projects, help optimize productivity and mapping accuracy, and ensure CAD and GIS standards are met. You'll also maintain as-built records and collaborate with various departments like GIS, Pipeline Safety, and Legal.
The ideal candidate will have a Vo-Tech/CAD/GIS/Drafting certificate or 60 credit hours in a related field, along with experience in drafting tools, pipe/mechanical/architectural drawings, and map preparation. Proficiency in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Word Processing, and Spreadsheet programs is essential, as is a strong attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively.
