Job Description
The company is looking for a Design Engineer/Drafter in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role is central to bringing new products to life, from the initial concept all the way through to launch. You'll be involved in creating designs for new extrusions and sheet metal parts, coordinating with production for test builds, and developing initial drawings and test plans.
Your responsibilities will also include creating submittal drawings for customer approval and generating CNC programs for laser cutters and routers. A key part of the job is also supporting new product launches by training production staff on new processes. You'll need proficiency in AutoCAD/Inventor and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
