Job Description
This company is looking for an Early Career Structural Drafter to join their team in Billings, Montana. You'll be working on power delivery projects, providing CADD support to create designs and specifications for infrastructure.
In this role, you will assist in collecting data, using 3D CADD software to prepare precise drawings, and ensuring designs meet industry standards. You'll also help verify calculations, manage change orders, and collaborate with engineers and other technical professionals. A good understanding of structural detailing practices and industry codes is important.
The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma and at least 3 years of drafting experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation. You should be capable of producing steel and foundation plans, sections, and elevation views, as well as preparing structural Bill of Materials. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for this position.
