Job Description
The company is looking for a Drafter to join their manufacturing workshop in St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu, Quebec. This role involves creating custom plans for high-quality furniture, ensuring they meet client expectations and construction codes. You'll be responsible for producing shop drawings using AutoCAD, preparing material lists for production, and coordinating projects with various stakeholders.
You'll also be involved in updating drawings based on site surveys and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. This position requires a DEC in architecture, civil engineering, or a DEP in building drafting, along with 1-2 years of similar experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and the ability to read plans and specifications are essential. Bilingualism in French and English is also a requirement.
