Job Description
The company is looking for an Electrical Technologist to join their multidisciplinary team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This role involves supporting electrical engineers and project managers with design and drafting for various projects. You'll also assist with preparing reports and specifications, and perform electrical calculations.
Your day-to-day will include conducting on-site electrical observations and inspections during construction, reviewing shop drawings, and responding to contractor inquiries. The position also requires commissioning on-site systems and may involve business travel.
To succeed in this role, you'll need an electrical engineering technologist diploma and be registered or eligible to be certified as a Certified Engineering Technologist. Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is essential, along with a strong understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code.
