Job Description
The company is looking for a Piping Designer to join their team in Cologne, Germany. This role involves creating basic and detailed designs for piping systems, including supports and steel structures. You'll be responsible for generating 3D layout plans, piping diagrams, bills of materials, and flow charts. The position also requires conducting on-site surveys of piping systems and ensuring projects are completed on time and according to established workflows. You'll also collaborate with project teams, clients, and suppliers.
The ideal candidate will have a technical degree or equivalent qualification, with knowledge of refinery or chemical engineering. Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards is important, as are good skills in CAE applications and 3D design, particularly with software like Bentley OpenPlant. Experience with SAP would be a plus.
