This role involves contributing to the design of reactor components, working under senior engineers. You'll be involved in preparing design documents, technical reports, calculations, and drawings, supporting various project phases from proposals to manufacturing and installation. This position also requires responding to technical queries and reporting on daily progress. You will develop essential technical documentation, including engineering drawings, bills of materials, design specifications, and testing reports. The role also includes supporting TSSA registration packages for pressure boundary designs and liaising with regulatory bodies like TSSA and CNSC. Additionally, you'll perform design reviews and support field construction activities as needed. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and has up to 6 years of mechanical design experience, with classical stress calculation experience being key. Familiarity with GD&T is a plus. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills are essential for this position.
