Job Description
The company is looking for an Assistant Resident Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves supporting the structural engineering team on various construction and development projects. You'll be ensuring that projects meet design specifications, building codes, and quality standards, working closely with senior engineers and site personnel.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with structural design and analysis, conducting site inspections, and preparing detailed technical reports. You'll also support the development of structural drawings and documents using CAD and BIM software, and collaborate with project teams to resolve structural challenges. Maintaining organized project documentation and ensuring compliance with local and international standards will be key.
To be successful in this role, you should have proficiency in structural analysis and design software like SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, or Revit, along with a strong understanding of structural engineering principles. Familiarity with UAE building codes and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are important. Experience with BIM and previous site supervision in the Middle East would be beneficial.
