Job Description
The company is looking for a Structural BIM Modeler to join their team in Downers Grove, Illinois. This role involves creating structural design information using Revit and Tekla, from schematic design through to construction-ready models. You'll be working closely with engineers and project managers in a Design/Build environment.
Your day-to-day will include developing structural models, performing preliminary layouts, creating detailed drawings, and incorporating feedback from the engineering team. You'll also collaborate with various departments to ensure design accuracy and meet client expectations, while applying knowledge of building codes and standards.
Ideal candidates will have an Associate's degree in CAD or a related field, with 1-3 years of BIM modeling experience, particularly in commercial or industrial projects. If you're a detail-oriented self-starter passionate about BIM, this could be a great fit for you.
