Job Description
This role is for a Survey Office Technician in Naperville, Illinois. You'll be working under the direction of a Section Chief of Surveys, focusing on reviewing legal descriptions and statutory plats for projects within IDOT District 1. This involves applying surveying principles and practices, using computers and software for data interpretation, and performing basic survey computations.
You'll need a good understanding of real estate and basic mathematics, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. A valid driver's license is required, as you'll be driving to various locations within the 6 counties of IDOT District 1.
