This role is for a Mining Technician focused on planning and design, working within the Engineering department. You'll be analyzing and revising development design scenarios for short and medium-term projects at the Goldex mine, incorporating the latest geological information and production decisions. Your responsibilities will also include creating plans for various works like surveying, service holes, and surface plans. You will ensure project objectives are met while upholding safety, environmental, and company values. This involves producing and optimizing gallery designs based on evolving development and geological data, collaborating with production and technical services. You'll also be involved in developing plans for service holes, surface work, and underground infrastructure, contributing to continuous improvement in design processes using Deswik.CAD. To be successful, you'll need a DEC in Mineral Technology, a valid blasting permit, and specific mining worker training. Experience in design and proficiency with Deswik.CAD are important, with knowledge of AutoCAD and Deswik.SCHED being an asset.
