This role is for a Virtual Design & Construction (VDC/BIM) Specialist in Frisco, Texas. The position involves using BIM technologies to support project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, from pursuit to execution. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining coordination models using Navisworks, creating clash detection reports, and participating in virtual collaboration meetings. The job also includes extracting quantity data from BIM models for estimating, creating custom 3D content, and providing model-based layout coordinates for field teams. You'll also process reality capture data, create 4D/5D visualizations for business development, and support innovation through technology testing. A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Technology is preferred, along with 1-3 years of experience in BIM/VDC within the AEC industry. Proficiency in BIM/CAD applications is essential, and programming/coding skills are a plus. Strong organizational and communication skills are needed to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
