Job Description
This role involves planning, overseeing, and managing coastal protection projects from initial concept through to completion. You'll be responsible for the entire lifecycle of these projects, including tendering, awarding contracts, and final accounting.
The focus will be on the planning and project management of dikes, sluices, pumping stations, flood protection areas, and other water management initiatives. You'll also contribute to climate change adaptation measures and protecting the region from inland flooding and storm surges.
A degree in civil engineering, ideally with a focus on hydraulic engineering or construction management, is required. Experience with water construction projects, earthworks, and knowledge of construction law are beneficial. Familiarity with AVA and CAD software is a plus.
