Job Description
This company is looking for someone to join their Building Science team in Mississauga, Ontario. You'll be assessing existing buildings, looking at things like roofs, exteriors, and balconies to figure out what repairs or upgrades are needed. This involves doing hands-on testing, taking measurements, and developing designs for restoration projects, including creating AutoCAD drawings.
You'll also be on-site during construction to make sure everything is up to standard and will be responsible for writing reports on your findings. The role requires a good understanding of building systems and the ability to work independently in the field.
If you have a background in architectural or civil technology, know your way around building envelopes, and can write clear technical reports, this could be a great fit. Experience with AutoCAD and construction or maintenance would be a plus.
