Job Description
The company is looking for an architectural technologist to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This role involves creating detailed 2D and 3D models and drawings using CAD software, including AutoCAD and Revit. You'll be analyzing technical documents, preparing working drawings, and writing specifications to ensure projects comply with building codes and design requirements.
This position requires a strong understanding of architectural design principles and experience in various construction types, such as commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, and renovation projects. You'll also be involved in project management tasks, preparing contract documents, and evaluating tenders. Site visits will be a regular part of the job to gather information and ensure compliance.
The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in architecture, with proficiency in software like Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and the Microsoft Office suite.
