Job Description
The company is looking for an Architectural Drafter to join their team in Kottayam, Kerala, India. This role involves creating detailed architectural drawings and construction documentation for various CAD and BIM projects. You'll be responsible for preparing and updating 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring they align with architectural, structural, and MEPF requirements.
You'll work closely with architects and engineers, translating design concepts into practical plans. This includes interpreting sketches and specifications, and making sure all drawings meet industry standards. The position also offers the chance to contribute to interior detailing, infrastructure drafting, and shop drawings, collaborating with project teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
If you have a strong grasp of architectural drawing, a good understanding of architecture and planning, and experience with construction drawings, this could be a great fit. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential, and familiarity with other design software is a plus. A background in architecture or civil engineering, coupled with a keen eye for detail and teamwork, will be highly valued.
