Job Description
The company is looking for an Architecture Technologist in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. This role is key in translating architectural designs into precise technical drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with regulations, sustainability goals, and budgets. You'll work closely with designers, architects, and engineers, bridging the gap between concept and technical execution.
Your day-to-day will involve 3D modeling of buildings and custom furniture, preparing detailed construction and shop drawings, and producing as-built plans. You'll also manage technical specifications and coordinate with various disciplines and external stakeholders. A strong understanding of building codes and a knack for identifying relevant materials and technologies are essential.
To succeed, you'll need a DEC in Architecture Technology or a DEP in Building Design, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, and MS Office is required, along with bilingualism in French and English. Experience with AI tools like Copilot and Claude is also expected.
