Job Description
This role involves reviewing and assessing design submissions, including new designs, amendments, and as-built drawings, against established guidelines and regulatory frameworks. The focus is on validating calculations, ensuring alignment with development parameters, and issuing necessary documentation like reports and stamped drawings.
You'll be coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to clarify comments and resolve issues, as well as preparing presentations for management. A key part of the job is ensuring all workflows are processed accurately and within service level agreements, while also collaborating with internal and external teams to expedite approvals.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in architecture with at least five years of experience in design review. Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Office is essential, along with a strong understanding of relevant design guidelines and the Dubai Building Code. Good communication and teamwork skills are also important.
