The company is looking for a Resident Architect to join their team in the East Region of Singapore. This role involves supporting the lead architect in overseeing architectural works on-site, ensuring everything aligns with approved plans, regulations, and quality standards. You'll be actively involved in site inspections, coordinating with various teams, and making sure architectural elements integrate smoothly with other building systems. Your day-to-day will include reviewing shop drawings and material submissions, inspecting finished work for any issues, and maintaining detailed site records. A key part of the job is ensuring all architectural activities comply with Singapore's Building Control Act and other relevant authority requirements, as well as promoting a safe working environment. To be successful, you'll need a degree in Architecture and be a registered architect in Singapore, or hold equivalent qualifications. At least five years of site supervision experience, particularly in Singapore's construction sector, is essential. Strong knowledge of local building regulations, construction methods, and the ability to read technical documents are crucial.
