This company is looking for an Architect to join their team in Saligramam, Chennai. You'll be responsible for leading the design and planning of residential projects, from initial concepts and floor plans to detailed working drawings. This involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and presenting design proposals, as well as coordinating with structural, MEP, and interior teams to ensure smooth project execution. You'll also be involved in preparing Bills of Quantities, material specifications, and technical documentation. Site visits will be part of your role to oversee design implementation and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. Strong communication and client-handling skills are essential, as you'll be presenting designs and incorporating feedback. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience in residential architectural design, a Bachelor's degree in Architecture with COA registration, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Lumion. Experience with MS Office and a solid understanding of construction techniques and building bylaws are also required.
