This role is for an Architect II, a mid-level professional who will be an integral part of the delivery team. You'll be involved in gathering and analyzing data, developing design solutions, and documenting your findings. The position requires a good understanding of architectural principles and the ability to apply them in practice. You will be expected to manage your time effectively and communicate clearly, while also developing specialist skills and project management capabilities. A broad understanding of the company's business and its service capabilities is also beneficial. Experience with design software like AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Revit is essential, with Lumion, Enscape, and Navisworks being advantageous. The company is looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in architectural design, ideally with a background in education projects. Knowledge of sustainability standards like BREEAM and LEED, as well as the International Building Code, would be a strong asset. Programming knowledge in C++, Python, or Dynamo is also a plus.
