Job Description
The company is looking for an Architect 1 to join their Operations Services Division. This role involves providing full professional architectural design services for new construction, remodeling, and rehabilitation projects. You'll be responsible for preparing construction documents, ensuring projects meet all functional, aesthetic, sustainability, code, legal, schedule, and budget requirements.
You will also assist and coordinate with other team members, including supervisors, design professionals, and outside consultants. During the construction phase, you'll provide administration services to ensure projects are implemented according to contract documents. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with potential for part-time telework.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least three years of experience as a Licensed Professional Architect in Minnesota. Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD is essential for managing models and generating detailed drawings. Experience with Google SketchUp or similar software, along with Microsoft Office, is also required. Strong communication skills are key to understanding client needs and presenting project details clearly.
