Job Description
The company is looking for a City Planner / Urban Designer to join their team in Almere, Netherlands. This role involves translating spatial frameworks into inspiring and workable designs for new living environments. You'll create urban frameworks and profiles for infrastructure, test scenarios, and advise initiators, architects, and developers to ensure plans are both creative and practical.
You will also be responsible for creating drawings, presentations, and written documents, collaborating closely with colleagues and external partners to achieve cohesive, future-proof, and innovative developments. The ideal candidate has a relevant HBO or WO degree, at least 5 years of experience, and strong conceptual and spatial design skills. Proficiency in design and drawing software like Adobe Suite, Vectorworks, MicroStation, and SketchUp is essential.
This position offers a yearly contract with the intention of a permanent role, a salary based on experience (up to €5,554 gross per month for 36 hours), and a 24-hour work week with flexible arrangements.
