The company is looking for an Innovation Architect to join their Product Design team in San Francisco, California. This role is about taking new ideas and shaping them into concrete, investable opportunities that will drive Mercer Health's leadership in digital and AI solutions. You'll be working within the Health Innovation Studio, collaborating with others to bring product thinking, human-centered design, and AI into the innovation process. Your work will help ensure the company is tackling the right problems in the right order, with a clear path from concept to a prioritized opportunity. You will also contribute to thought leadership initiatives, using market intelligence and research to develop compelling viewpoints and external engagements for clients. This involves guiding innovation idea submitters through structured refinement, facilitating workshops to uncover root problems, and translating complex concepts into clear problem statements and hypotheses. You'll apply a product mindset to evaluate ideas based on user needs, market opportunity, and feasibility, ensuring that innovation investments address real business pain points. The role also involves reimagining processes with AI, exploring how humans and AI can work together in new ways to create value. You'll prepare ideas for review by the Innovation Council, support prioritization decisions, and help develop business cases. This position requires 5+ years of experience in product management, strategy, consulting, or innovation program management, with a background in healthcare, digital transformation, or AI product development.
