Job Description
The company is looking for a Sr. MEP BIM Coordinator to join their team in Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt. This role involves developing and managing MEP BIM models, ensuring they integrate smoothly with other project elements and meet all BIM standards. You'll be a key player in coordinating designs from the initial stages through to construction.
Your day-to-day will include using Revit for modeling and Navisworks for clash detection. You'll also be responsible for following the BIM Execution Plan, extracting crucial information like drawings and quantities from models, and collaborating closely with architectural and structural engineering teams. Maintaining model versions and attending coordination meetings will also be part of your responsibilities.
To be successful in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 5-7 years of experience specifically in MEP BIM modeling. Strong skills in Revit and Navisworks are essential, along with experience in BIM Execution Plans and model management platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud. A good understanding of interdisciplinary coordination and a keen eye for detail are also important.
