Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Coordinator to join their team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This role involves supporting multidisciplinary project teams in designing industrial projects of various scales. You'll be responsible for ensuring BIM models are accurate, coordinated, and meet project standards, working closely with teams and consultants to manage model quality and resolve coordination issues.
Your day-to-day will include developing and maintaining BIM models, conducting quality reviews, and performing clash detection. You'll also provide hands-on support to project teams, troubleshoot BIM challenges, and help implement digital collaboration tools. Success in this role means maintaining accurate models, reducing rework, and fostering effective collaboration through consistent BIM practices.
To be successful, you'll need a diploma or degree in a related field and 3–5 years of BIM coordination experience. Advanced proficiency in Revit, a solid understanding of BIM standards and workflows, and experience with clash detection and model exchanges are essential. A detail-oriented, problem-solving approach and clear communication skills are also key.
