Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Coordinator to join their team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is a great chance to work on significant ground-up projects across South Florida, collaborating directly with construction teams. They value technical skill and ambition over years of experience, seeking someone comfortable working with project teams and subcontractors to resolve coordination issues before they impact the field.
In this role, you'll support BIM/VDC coordination throughout the construction process, working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and trade partners. Your responsibilities will include developing and coordinating BIM models, identifying and resolving clashes between different building systems, and producing coordinated models and construction documentation. You'll also assist field teams with model-based coordination and maintain BIM standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role, with strong Revit and Navisworks skills, including clash detection. A solid understanding of MEP systems and construction coordination, along with the ability to read construction drawings and work effectively with project teams, is essential. While general contractor experience is a plus, candidates from subcontractors or MEP contractors with strong BIM coordination backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
