Job Description
This company is looking for a BIM Coordinator to join their team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You'll be working with project teams to ensure BIM models are accurate and coordinated, supporting efficient project delivery.
Your role will involve collaborating with consultants and the Design Technology team to manage model quality, resolve coordination issues, and reinforce BIM standards. Success means maintaining accurate models, reducing rework through proactive clash detection, and supporting integrated design delivery.
You'll be responsible for developing and coordinating BIM models, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with BIM execution plans. This includes performing clash detection, tracking issues, and supporting coordination meetings. You'll also provide hands-on BIM support and troubleshooting to project teams, helping them adopt consistent BIM practices.
The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in a related field and 3-5 years of BIM coordination experience. Advanced proficiency in Revit, a strong understanding of BIM standards, and experience with clash detection and issue resolution are essential. A proactive, problem-solving mindset and clear communication skills are also key.
