This role is about coordinating all planning services for steel construction projects. You'll be guiding and supporting designers without having direct managerial responsibility. Depending on the project, you might also get hands-on with designing and modeling steel structures using Tekla Structures. The main goal is to ensure that all steel models, workshop drawings, and assembly plans are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and comply with regulations. You'll be reviewing and approving these designs, making sure they are technically correct and adhere to internal guidelines. A key part of the job involves resolving technical questions and making decisions on design issues, especially concerning connection details. You'll also be responsible for internal and external coordination tasks and will assist the project management team with technical queries and planning. This position requires a degree in civil engineering or a related field, along with several years of experience in steel construction, particularly in execution or workshop planning. Strong technical understanding and proficiency in CAD software, ideally Tekla Structures, are important. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for working effectively in project teams.
