Job Description
The company is looking for a Process Safety / Barrier Management SME to join their team in Abu Dhabi. This role requires over 10 years of experience in process safety within high-hazard industries like oil & gas or petrochemicals. A strong understanding of bowtie methodology, barrier health monitoring, safety-critical elements, and performance standards is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing the barrier hierarchy, defining barrier health rules, and operationalizing bowtie scenarios within the company's platform. This involves working closely with client technical authorities and HSE to validate methodology and support the design of operational risk assessment workflows.
Experience in translating safety methodologies into digital tools or data models is highly valued. The company is seeking someone with an engineering degree, and chartered status is a plus.
