Job Description
This contract role is for a FreeCAD Expert to work on BIM and IFC projects. You'll be responsible for managing entire parametric CAD projects from start to finish, and your process will help train AI. This is a great opportunity to use your FreeCAD and BIM expertise to influence how technology understands design.
You'll be modeling building components, coordinating BIM models, and ensuring IFC data is accurate for interoperability. The company needs someone who can clearly explain their modeling strategies and workflow choices, both in writing and verbally, to support AI learning.
The ideal candidate has expert-level FreeCAD skills with a portfolio of complex projects, along with practical knowledge of BIM and IFC standards. Experience with AutoCAD and other 3D CAD software is also important, as is strong communication and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
