Job Description
This role involves creating precise electronic component models within ECAD systems, specifically Siemens Xpedition, adhering to company standards. You'll be responsible for developing CAD symbols and models for schematic design and printed circuit boards, ensuring all attribute data is correctly loaded into enterprise systems.
The position requires interpreting component drawings and specifications to produce accurate symbols and land patterns. A strong mechanical aptitude, understanding of electronic functions, and solid math and geometry skills are essential. You'll also need to self-check your work and collaborate with others to resolve issues and gather missing information.
This is a remote opportunity for a US citizen with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field and 5-10 years of relevant experience, including proficiency with Mentor Xpedition EDM Library.
