Job Description
The company is looking for a BIM Fabrication Library Engineer to join their Infrastructure Programs team in Austin, Texas. This role involves developing, managing, and supporting Revit fabrication content for electrical, mechanical, and piping systems within their factory environment. You'll be working with Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD MEP, ensuring that fabrication components are accurately represented for analysis and quantity takeoffs.
You'll also collaborate with BIM & VDC teams on coordination and clash detection, and assist with Plant3D P&ID updates. The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience, with at least five years of hands-on experience in the specified software. Experience leading small teams and interfacing with construction and cost control for quantity takeoffs is also expected.
