Job Description
The company is looking for an Steel Structure Detailer to join their team in Quebec, Canada. This is a permanent, full-time role where you'll be responsible for creating 3D models and shop drawings for steel structures, as well as generating fabrication deliverables. You'll work closely with the design engineer and other disciplines to ensure project integration and feasibility.
You should have a DEC, AEC, or equivalent in industrial design, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field, with 2 to 5 years of experience in steel detailing. Proficiency in modeling software like Advance Steel is essential. The ability to understand engineering plans and construction concepts, along with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, will be key to success in this position.
