Job Description
The company is looking for a CAD Draftsman in Beaumont, Texas. This role involves creating detailed drawings for pressure equipment fabrication and repairs, working closely with engineering and production teams. You'll use AutoCAD to produce 3D models and technical drawings, interpret design calculations, and measure existing parts.
You'll also support fundamental engineering tasks like making simple calculations, checking for errors, and compiling Bills of Material. Collaboration with mechanical engineers to understand datasheets and process requirements is key. A degree in CAD or equivalent experience in heat exchangers is preferred, along with 2-5 years of experience in pressure vessel or heat exchanger design.
