Job Description
The company is looking for a Draftsperson II to join their Water Services Department in Burnaby, British Columbia. This role involves preparing engineering drawings for various water and wastewater facilities, from initial design through to construction and record-keeping.
You'll be working with engineering and CAD teams, using tools like Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create drawings for systems such as water, sewer, drainage, treatment plants, and reservoirs. The work will also include preparing 'as built' drawings and performing basic technical calculations.
This position is ideal for an intermediate CAD professional with solid experience in civil infrastructure drafting, particularly with linear infrastructure and utilities. A good understanding of drafting best practices and a strong aptitude for technical drawing and calculation are essential.
