Job Description
The company is looking for a Transmission Drafter to join their team in Columbus, Ohio. This role is central to creating and managing the technical drawings and documentation needed for electrical transmission infrastructure projects. You'll be working closely with engineers to ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date throughout the project's life.
You'll be responsible for preparing and updating drawings, maintaining engineering records, and supporting the creation of mapping data. This involves coordinating with various teams to keep design information current and assisting with drafting revisions and project documentation.
To be successful, you'll need an Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, along with at least two years of CAD drafting experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software is essential, as is experience managing technical drawings and project documentation. Familiarity with utility or infrastructure projects would be a plus.
