Job Description
The company is looking for a CAD Drafter to join a long-term project supporting a major utility company in the Pacific Northwest. This is a fully remote position where you'll be responsible for drafting and design support for electrical and gas infrastructure projects.
You'll receive assignments from Project Managers and Engineers, working through a shared queue to complete several CAD design projects daily. These projects will involve base mapping, layout design, and creating safe site environments for Traffic Control operations. You'll collaborate with engineering teams through video calls and digital communication.
This role is ideal for someone with at least three years of professional CAD drafting experience, who can quickly learn customized AutoCAD interfaces and is proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong virtual communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work fully remote and train via video calls.
If you're looking for a stable, remote role supporting essential infrastructure, this could be a great fit.
