Job Description
The company is looking for a Facade Detailer to create fabrication-ready shop drawings for their solar façade panels and rainscreen systems. This role involves translating design intent into detailed drawings that the factory and installers will use directly.
You'll be responsible for preparing shop drawings, layout and optimization drawings, and installation details based on architectural and structural plans, as well as field surveys. This includes detailing attachment systems, subframing, flashings, and coordinating with production for fabrication tickets and BOMs. You'll also manage consultant review comments and ensure field dimensions are accurate before fabrication.
This position requires a strong understanding of architectural and structural sets, fabrication tolerances, and envelope fundamentals. Experience with AutoCAD is essential, and knowledge of Inventor, SolidWorks, or Revit would be beneficial. If you're detail-oriented and enjoy seeing your drawings come to life on significant projects, this could be a great fit.
