Job Description
The company is looking for a Design Drafter to join their Mechanical department in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This role involves developing tender and construction drawings, reviewing shop drawings, and responding to contractor inquiries. You'll also be responsible for site visits to gather information and verify as-built conditions.
You'll be creating layouts and bills of materials from sketches, identifying and resolving interferences, and supporting the design team with preliminary P&IDs. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in piping design and drawing preparation, preferably within an engineering consulting environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Plant 3D is essential.
